About Skalar
Models from data — with a technical standard
Skalar specialises in true-to-scale 3D-printed models built from technical data: from plans, drawings, photos and dimensions — even without a finished CAD file.
Why Skalar exists
Many good projects fail at one hurdle: model makers require a finished 3D file that hardly anyone has. Existing buildings exist as old plans, machines as 2D drawings, a favourite object only as a photo. Skalar closes exactly this gap — with reconstruction from existing documents.
Behind it stands a technical standard: a model should not just look good but be accurate to scale and explain function. That's why we work with a dimensional frame, transparent assumptions and a sign-off before printing.
Started as a side business, Skalar combines engineering thinking with hands-on 3D-print production. The result: models for sales, planning, approval and special occasions — reproducible from a single piece to a small batch.

What we stand by
-
Precision
Accuracy takes priority over estimation. Where we interpret, we do so transparently and traceably.
-
Transparency
Fixed prices instead of „on request“, clear assumptions, a preview before printing. You always know where you stand.
-
Confidentiality
We treat customer data confidentially.
-
Quality before speed
We deliver promptly — but never at the expense of detail. A model is a business card, ours too.
Region
From Austria, for the DACH region
Based in Austria, Skalar works location-independently on model projects across Austria and, on request, throughout the DACH region. Collaboration runs smoothly and digitally: you send your data, we deliver the finished model. You'll find the registered office and contact details in the imprint.
